The Global Investment Contest ("GIC") committee is proud to announce that the 2025 GIC CONTEST ( the "CONTEST") focusing on Sustainable/ESG Investing. The Contest will be launched as one of the latest and the most exciting GIC series of contests!

The Contest is organized by the ACME Society and the EZ Education Foundation. The Contest is supervised by the GIC Committee and co-organized by the Larson International and the Global Investment Club Association (GICA). The Contest has partnership with Prestige And Fortune Fintech, YOUniversity, Tiger Securities, The ESG Research Initiative Center at the University of Chicago (ESGRIC), Harvard GSAS Business Club, Harvard Extension Student Association, MIT CHIEF, Global Institute of Financial Professionals, SHIMMER, Young Plus Education and the Omaha Summit.

More than 15,000 worldwide contestants participated in GIC series investment challenges since 2013 and over 2.6 million viewers participated the contests and the interviews on the GIC winners! In the year of 2020, GIC series of contests had attracted more than 1,500 student teams worldwide to compete. The champion teams were from the Harvard University, NYU and the University of California - San Diego. Past winners and alumni are now working at the most reputable financial and consulting firms, including Goldman Sachs, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, McKinsey and Morgan Stanley etc. GIC offers great opportunities to LEARN, COMPETE and WIN!

What is Sustainable Investing:

Sustainable investing is about investing in progress, and recognizing that companies solving the world’s biggest challenges can be best positioned to grow. Through the combination of traditional investment approaches with environmental, social and governance (ESG) insights, investors are taking a sustainable approach to pursuing their investment goals. According to NASDAQ ESG Advisory Program, $31 trillion Asset Under Management were associated with the ESG as of 2019. Mission:

Build and manage your own portfolio by choosing stocks on a simulation trading platform to compete against other contestants. The goal is to gain a superior risk-adjusted return during the contest time period and also seek long-time capital appreciation, while giving special consideration to ESG criteria.

Registration:

Contestants should register as an individual to compete. You can also apply to compete as a team up to 4 members. A qualified contestant must be at least 16 year old at the time of the registration.
