Evan Brooks is Director of Finance of the Harvard Extension Student Association Executive Board. Evan was the winner of 2020 University Endowment Investment Contest and the Best Performing Portfolio Manager Award Recipient.
Judge John W. Allen has participated in developing several multi-billion companies. He is a founding member of Chinese Cultural Foundation and China Investment Group. He was the Chairman of the Board of AIESEC, US and AIESEC Yale. He headed the international investment subsidiary of the Bank of Boston and was assistant to James D. Wolfensohn (former head of the World Bank) at Schroder Bank and Trust. He subsequently became president of International Securities Exchange Corporation. He served as a trustee of Soros Open Society Institute and one of three trustees of the International Science Foundation along with George Soros and Nobel Laureate James Watson. He is a director of the World Policy Institute and former vice chairman of the Business Council at the United Nations. He received his BA from Yale University and MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Allen has serves as a senior judge of the Global Investment Contest since 2013.
Judge Orina Chang has 25 years experience in the global financial market, and she is an International Financial Advisor of Morgan Stanley. She was a Director at Oppenheimer Funds, where she worked as a Fund of Hedge Fund Analyst and Manager, responsible for approximately $1 billion USD AUM. Ms. Chang is also a Real Estate Investor and Advisor in New York, California and Taiwan. She was a Carlyle Group seeded private Equity Analyst at AmTec, a U.S. listed asset management firm. She owns a B.A. degree from Columbia University (Summa Cum Laude), and M.B.A degree from Columbia Business School (Academic Achievement Award). Ms. Change serves as a judge of the 2020 Global Investment Contests, including the University Endowment Investment Challenge.
Walter Sweet is Senior Vice President of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and oversees Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ advisory and management practice. He also leads client engagements with foundations supporting health, community development, education and entrepreneurship. As part of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors’ impact investing practice, he advises investors on portfolios to generate both social and financial returns. He has been interviewed by national publications including The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times and regularly serves on panels of philanthropic experts.
Previously, Walter served as a program officer at the New York Community Trust, the nation’s largest community foundation.
